The University is undertaking a "Campus Activation Review" and looking at ways to improve social, entertainment and recreation spaces on the Dunedin campus, for students and also staff and the wider community. Squash courts on campus fit into all of those categories: the squash club organises recreation and social events, and squash is entertainment of itself, for students, staff and the community from Balclutha to Palmerston.
Submissions close next Friday, the 23rd of May, and should be emailed to Megan Wilson ([email protected]). Even a short message in support of squash on campus would help us show that there's benefits to having courts, and that there is support in the community for it. Comments are closed.
