Welcome to Clubs Day 2023
Happy new year, I hope you are having a good break and we are looking forward to seeing you all back at squash again soon. Here is all of the information I have on how our move to playing out of Otago Squash club for 2023 will work, we will do our best to make it the simplest process possible but as always we will iron it out as we go.
Sadly, we are now forbidden from entering the squash club at 51 Union Street West. Good news though, we now have access to our new home at 44 Kaikorai Valley Road. So how will it work? You will still keep your membership, and we will still be the same club you know, but with a temporary new home.
We will do our best to get key fobs to everyone as they pay their membership but if you flick us a message when you pay then we will make sure you don’t get missed. I and the committee are happy to answer any questions you may have, or to talk to you about what is going on. Simply give us a call, or flick us a message, and we will do our best to help. Thank you for continuing to support our club, and we are all looking forward to seeing you again soon. Hamish Dudley President (027) 235-8808 [email protected] Hi all, me again
Sorry for the delay in getting more information to you about your membership. I have had a few problems creating the instructions, but it’s all sorted now hopefully. To those of you who are still waiting on me to sort your membership I am getting there I promise, you may be able to help me out by following the instructions below and making sure everything is in order at your end first. All instructions can be found at www.unisquash.net/how-to-get-a-fob please read these carefully and remember to fill in the form at the bottom once you’re done so that I know to get you a FOB. Once you get your FOB you will book a court through ISquash. Instructions on how to do this can be found at www.unisquash.net/book it’s pretty simple once you get the hang of it but if you haven’t done it before then maybe worth a read. Also make the time I spent making them worth while 😊 Just some general knowledge to finish off. Once everything is completed you will notice that you are a member of Otago University Squash Club and Otago Squash club when you log into ISquash. We just want to clarify that this is because you are a member of Otago University Squash Club and everything you do will be recognised as being with the university club but since we are sharing the same courts, we need to share the same court booking system hence the Otago Squash club connection. As always if you have any questions let me know otherwise, I hope to hear from you soon when I give you a FOB :) Hamish Dudley President (027) 235-8808 [email protected]
The University Open is the highlight of our year. This year it is scheduled for the weekend of the 6th-8th of August. There is always some fantastic squash played and a great social atmosphere. All levels are welcome and the weekend finishes off with themed function in the club lounge, so come on down share in a fun-filled, exciting weekend!
